The Cloaked Self – ISTJ and Elegance
Completed in June 2023 this work stands at around 20″ and weighs 17kg. The marble is Sienna Antique Yellow – described by some as the most elegant marble.
My inspiration for this work came from someone whose style of dress was described by many as refined and elegant. In terms of her MBTI type she was an ISTJ.
ISTJ’s need to look right for the ‘part’ and have a need for serenity and calm in their lives. This can be seen in ISTJ’s approach to style. The stylish ISTJ will never wear anything too flashy so bold and attention-drawing will likely upset ISTJ’s inner equilibrium, so they tend to go with what soothes their spirit – appropriate, peaceful and practical being key. But ISTJ’s casual approach to dress has a hint of elegance. This lady was someone who was not only very comfortable with her MBTI type but also had a very distinctive dress sense..
