The Wedding Veil: commission. Inspiration came when I was at the theatre and watching some actors or cloistered monks and nuns on stage. Their veils seemed to envelop their heads in an a symmetrical fashion and what looked like seven even parts as it covered the head. I was keen to see if I could incorporate that design into a wedding veil and then let it delicately balance on the plinth.
